FORMEX. Things of Colour are back at this years Formex fair in Stockholm, Sweden. We had a good spot and were really happy with our booth. The testpattern puzzle has proven a big hit, along with the RLHK Chandelier.

For all of you who visited Hem 2009 at Stockholmsmässan we hope that you took time to swing by hall B and the köksliv exception by interior designer Synnöve Mork. Our lamp Red Light HK appears in one of the kitchens, hanging nonchalant over a kitchen table.

Red Light HK in Dagens Nyheter
Sweden’s biggest daily newspaper fell for the red lamps charm. They are not the only ones. It appears in the trend column and is described as the new light from the east. We think it will adapt to a life in Sweden very fast despite the cold weather.

As summer turned into autumn and Swedes abandoned the beaches for the warmth of their living rooms the decorative urge takes over. Elle interiör was first out to promote Red Light HK as a natural part of the new Swedish home. Bravo!

Red Light HK decorates the ceiling in a Helsinki restaurant
Through word of mouth our red lamp is now known about in Finland. The old bank office turned restaurant Ravintola Katsomo didn’t hesitate to act. In a tasteful environment with a mix of new and old design our little lamps seems to get on well.

Red Light HK available at DesignTorget in Sweden and Norway
First product out on the market! The lamp is wonderfully displayed when we visit most of the stores in Stockholm. A rumour said that 3 lamps was sold in the first hour at the store in Malmö.

Red Light HK decorates the food court at M7 Kunskapsgallerian in Sickla, Stockholm
Just as Red Light HK hit the market we get our first order from an interior designer who wanted Red Light HK to decorate a food court. We didn’t let him down.

ToC at Formex at Stockholmsmässan, Stockholm, Sweden
We made our first public apperance at Formex. A giant black tree covered our booth with over 30 red lamps hanging from its branches. It was a majestic sight that made all the passing people stop and stare. It also resulted in our contact with DesignTorget. We are now officially in business.
